The "Author's Best Result" is a total of 390 points with over 200 on the last tray.

  • Asterisk tiles may represent ONE OR MORE letters in a row but have no points.

  • Turn-To-Wild board squares turn a tile placed on them into an asterisk tile.

  • 40 bonus points are awarded for using all tiles in one play.

  • If one or more fixed letters are on the board, you must connect to at least one of them.

  • You must be able to explain all asterisks and, thus, spell your word correctly.

  • Words must be valid in the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary.
