The Windows JRE Download

You will be taking a link to a page at Oracle. The JRE is their product.
Here is the link to take:
https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

The top of that page will look like the image below:

You will click on the tab for "Java for Desktop Apps."

A bit down the resulting page you will find the box below.

You will click on the "Download Java for Desktops" button.
The download will start and may take some time with little indication.

On my version of Windows a pointing down arrow indicating the download appears in the upper left corner of the screen. If you click on that you will get a drop down menu list shown below. Use a right mouse click on the jre-exe downloaded and  choose "Open" from a new menu or hit the associated upward pointing arrow.

Then comes a black screen with a permission box to allow changes to your computer. You reply with the Yes button. I could not capture it. By default, the installing program seems to go into your Downloads folder. Finally there is the screen below where you push the Install button.

A successful message will appear when completed.

The WildWords.jar Download

The WildWords program consists of a single file, WildWords.jar, of only 75K bytes. If you left click on the link below, the file will most likely be placed in your Dowloads directory. If you right click on the link, you should be able to designate the destination folder.

Here is the link to download the file:
http://www.wildwords.us/WildWords.jar

Once the file is downloaded, you will probably want to place a shortcut to it on your desktop.

The TMaker.zip Download

The TMaker.zip file includes a number of files associated with the program. These consist of the program jar file, a number of special cursors, and a number of examples that are helpful in learning the program or may be generally useful. The first task is to download the zip file by clicking on the link below. A left button click will usually download the file to your Downloads folder. A right button click will offer the chance to choose a folder for the download.

Here is the link to download the file:  http://tmaker.site/TMaker.zip

Once the zip file is downloaded, you can find it in the appropriate folder, do a right mouse click over its name,  and choose Extract All Files. This will lead to the dialog box below. When you click Extract, it will create the folder TMaker and put all extracted files into it.

If you go into the newly created TMaker folder, you can see the TMaker jar file. This is the file you want to use with a desktop shortcut for easy access.

If you don't see a cursor when running the program, you probably did not extract all files or pointed your shortcut at the compressed zip file and not the jar file in the TMaker folder.
